General Prosecutor Launches ‎EPP Strategy in Digital Transformation

Egypt’s Public Prosecution (“EPP”) launched the Public Prosecution's strategy in digital transformation in all the country’s prosecutions, it was launched within the framework of the state's plan for digital transformation.


“The Attorney General announced the launching of the Public Prosecution’s strategy for digital transformation, which was within the overall historical, scientific and practical steps that is the first in the history in the (“EPP”), as it aims to facilitate procedures for citizens, improve the services provided to them, achieve prompt justice, improve the performance of the (“EPP”), support decision-making within it, enhance the trust in it, consolidate principles of integrity and transparency, anti-corruption, and enhance integration with state institutions, through using digital transformation techniques within the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030.” The General Prosecution announced in a statement Saturday 9th September 2021.


Attorney General instructed to follow a scientific method in setting the digital transformation strategy; that said, a qualified team of (“EPP”) members was selected on a scientific basis, alongside with the digital expert of the Attorney General’s Office, a qualified team examined the best national and international practices in this field, and listened to national experts specializing in strategic planning, led by experts at the Nasser Military High Academy, national and international experts in digital transformation, including an expert from the United Nations, and an advisor to the Director of Public Prosecutions in Denmark; To benefit from their experience and vision, as well as to track the opinions and needs of citizens on the official accounts of the (“EPP”) on various social media platforms, and to listen to the opinions of all members of the Public Prosecution during a general questionnaire launched to survey their views and suggestions in digital transformation, and sessions held for discussions, initiated with a listening session to the Attorney General.
